I am so happy I finally spent the money on this garage door seal! After replacing my garage door's gasket a few times and still having water stream in under heavy rains, I finally noticed that my garage floor wasn't parallel with my door's bottom.
The Park Smart Garage Door Seal worked like a charm. It was cheaper here than at other sites and came in about four business days (regular delivery).
It was easy to install (and I am by no means a confident DIYer) and during the next heavy rainstorm, not a drop nor a trickle of water came in -- the floor was bone dry.
This is totally worth the money!|||Have seen this product for a while but wasn't sure about it. Glad I ordered it.
The material is nice and heavy (I unrolled it and let it sit for an hour or two) and it came with both the glue and the gun - unlike another review, the gun was new and did what it was supposed to do.
I have had the product in place now for a few weeks and it is working great. My garage floor is a bit uneven (about 1/2 inch from right to left) and through some judicious alignment, the seal between the door and this product works great and prevents things from blowing under. No water has yet to come in through my garage door.
Fantastic product and highly recommended.|||I was really excited about this product because water runs under my garage doors when it rains - even though there are rubber seals on the bottom of the doors. I followed the directions closely and applied three beads of liquid nails as instructed. During the first rain, there was a little water at either end of the doors but I thought the water just went around the threshhold seal. However during a following rain, water ran under the threshold seal.|||after owning this product over a full year with a full winter of use, I would still recommend. the glue has held up and no discoloration at all up to this point.|||The Park Smart Garage Door Seal which came with liquid nails fixed the problem we had with water getting into the garage whenever there was a heavy rain. An inexpensive solution to a problem that had caused problems for many years.|||This is our second purchase of this type on seal. They do work to keep water from coming in under the garage door itself. It still seeps in some in the very corner between the track and the wall, plan to take some extra piece and put it there. I might add that our garage floor is very uneven, it has been through several stroms now, for the most part we are pleased.|||I use to get water seeping into my garage from the driveway when it rained. Unfortunately my concrete driveway doesn't have enough slope to channel all the water away from the garage. I purchased the garage door threshold seal after seeing it advertised in one of those airline product magazines. I bought it for about half the cost on . When installed it dams the water outside the garage. It doesn't interfere with the garage door operation. In fact, the garage door's rubber gasket closes atop the rubber strip that is glue-mounted to the floor. It works well, although during the heaviest rains (about once every year to 18 months) I do get a tiny bit of water in the garage....just a little. Otherwise, it works great and my garage stays dry. If the strip was another 1/8 or 1/4 inch higher I'm sure it would deflect the rainwater from even the heaviest of rains. I live in South Carolina coastal region and we get a lot of heavy down pours, so I'm happy that for 98 percent of the rainfalls this product works great. I've had it four years. Easy to install.|||Not a drop of water has come under the doors of my garage since I installed the Tsunami Seal under my garage doors. I'm a very happy camper! Recommend using a stronger caulk gun than the one that comes in the package and picking up a couple extra tubes of Liquid Nails Polyurethane Adhesive before you start, but even so, it still rates 5 stars!
