It is a thick rug and the pattern is a bit embossed. I got it on sale (otherwise would give it 2 stars) and don't want to go through the hassle of sending it back so am keeping it. Wayfair customer service was great though and offered to give me a refund and pay for shipping it back.I love this rug. It is a quality piece and a great value! The size is perfect as well. Its an in between size of the standard sizes offered on most rugs.I was hesitant to buy a rug online since I like to see and touch stuff like this. I crossed my fingers, and was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Just what I wanted!"
