I have the need now and I'm glad that I bought it. Great quality and workmanship.I ordered this on Friday and it is sunday so I haven't even received it yet... but I am excited to get it.does what i need it to do very solid case.I love the tsa lock, it keeps my tools in place.Nice case but the pallets could be a little better designed for real world tools. They aren't rugged enough or made out of heavy duty materials, nor are the sizes correct for most tools. The tools will be all over the box, especially if you check it as baggage.Newly bought, so far I like it and it seems halfway decent BUT I bought one a few years ago that was made in America. The one I have purchased now says made in ""Dominican Republic"".....sofar that's my only complaint.My technicians travel extensively and like the durability of the case as well as all the built in pockets. Will buy more shortly.Over 100,000 miles with it but,The Case shape is deformed I need to pound the piano hinge back to straight. The handle release is in an odd position beneath the handle. The interior pallets do not hold onto tools during travel and tear easily with lots of odd unusable pockets although I am sure someone had something in mind for them. Interior loses space due to rivets.Great case. Wish I bought the next size up though.I use it as my daily tool case for my field engineering gig.It has three well thought out pallets that do a fair job of keeping tools in place. the lifting tab pulled off of the bottom one though. the edge stitching missed it... looks like. It came with foam fillers and I use them to secure the loose items that dont have a place. A very handy feature is on the top two pallets. they easily lift out for repacking and there is a long two hole strap that holds both top pallets in an 'open' position for handy easy access while the case is open. It is a very sharp looking case that has turned a lot of heads. The latches, piano type hinge and combination lock are top grade. the telescoping handle and wheels are superb. There is room in the bottom for VOM and my favorite cans of stuff. Thank you ""Wayfair"" for carrying the Chicago Case Company products. there is one statement in the description that I feel is inaccurate; if the retractable handle and wheels are in use, all pallets are in the sideways position. This is not a deal breaker for me, just have to pack carefully and use the foam pieces to keep things in place.
