I have not yet used it, but I have looked it over and it looks fine!Definitely the best qualitybest functionalitybest value we could find anywhere...and we looked. These are to be used by ski patrol when we are searching for someone or tending to a patient at night. We wanted something bright enough that we could see our way through the woods yet small enough to keep in our ski patrol vest. Plenty bright. We have not used it long enough to see how it holds up over time.Side comments We thought the green light was goofy at 1st BUT it gives me JUST enough light to read and correct student papers while my wife is driving without disturbing her.A little hard to open the battery compartment but we later decided this was a big plus as we do not want it falling apart on a trail or further on in life when we have changed the batteries numerous times.
