I have two lamps and chair cushions covered in a similar print on a smaller scale so it coordinates well. Definitely a true navy. When I first opened it it seemed very dark, almost black but being that it is on the floor in an eating space, its probably for the best. Over time the fibers come to the surface (or maybe the cat pulls them up) and I have to pick them off hand vacuum. Its plush though and seems more luxurious than the super cheap flat kind."
