I already owned the Strion C4 LED before i purchased this unit, which is a terrific hi-powered flashlight that is well made, but It sometimes it is too much. That is why i purchased this penlight. It is very bright, compact, and lite-weight thanks to the fact it only uses 1 AAA battery! It has a long throw and is perfect for illuminating equipment in tight spots where a larger light might not fit. I am extremely picky with my tools, which is why i am writing such a good review on this unit. The only thing that would make this light better is if they offered a rechargeable version.
